In accordance with the service agreement on flexible working hours and their adjustment, employees can work within the framework period between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. There is a daily target time (eight hours for full-time employees) specified in the employment contract, which is usually distributed evenly across the weekdays; there may be deviations for part-time employees. The point of contact is Department III/2.

Non-academic staff members are subject to time recording. Employees clock in and out with their time-recording chip at the terminal in their own work building at the start and end of work and during break times that take place outside the work building. When working from home, time recording is done online via the ZMI system (instructions under Time Recording, Account). The point of contact is Department III/2.
- Corrective entries for time recording, e.g. doctor's appointments or business trips Hide

If you forget to clock in or out, you can use an online form to make up for the arrival/departure entry. For business trips, the corresponding times must also be added using the online form. If you visited the doctor during working hours, you must clock in/out at the terminal/online and also make a correction entry using the above-mentioned form.

Working from home is possible at the University of Bayreuth for certain professional groups. As a rule, 60% of weekly working hours should be spent at the office workplace. Working from home must be applied for. The service agreement on working remotely can be found on the intranet pages of the Human Resources Department, as can the corresponding application form.

The secretarial network and the technical assistant network are internal platforms for employees in the respective areas. They serve to facilitate exchange and support among members. - Green cardHide

The green card is required to record working hours outside of the standard working hours, special leave, "child sick", weekend work, hour credits and flexitime days on which less than four hours are worked. The point of contact for this is the time recording team in the Human Resources department.
